GRAN PROYECTO DE RECUPERACIÓN DEL PATRIMONIO ARTÍSTICO-MONUMENTAL  CARLOS CRUZ-DIEZ

GRAN PROYECTO DE RECUPERACIÓN DEL PATRIMONIO ARTÍSTICO-MONUMENTAL
CARLOS CRUZ-DIEZ

In response to a necessity and in alliance with the artist and the Cruz-Diez Atelier in Paris, the Grand Project for the Recovery of Cruz-Diez Artistic and Monumental Heritage begins in 2016, aiming to give back to the city its artistic and monumental landmarks, and seek long-term conservation.

Honoring the Master’s will, staying truthful to what the artist had conceptually foreseen in his time, leveraging the new existing technologies, and as the only authorized (and approved) company to perform restoration and maintenance services on the work of Carlos Cruz-Diez, we take action to return the artworks to their original condition, recovering their heritage, historical, iconic, symbolic, tourist, economic, and social value.

Carlos Cruz-Diez is regarded as one of the most productive artists when it comes to the integration of art into architecture, engineering, and urban spaces. Venezuela has been the canvas on which the master of color has conceptualized and materialized the greater number of integration artworks: One hundred and fifty seven (157) monumental artworks of a total of approximately two hundred and twenty three (223)—many of them severely damaged and soon to be restored.
